Simply the best
By: Jaakon 11 July 2025Ever since I picked up the Babolat Pure Aero 98, my forehand has started doing things it legally shouldn't. I don’t entirely know what “spin potential” means, but apparently, neither do my opponents—because their balls keep landing in the net while mine kick up like they’re angry at the court. This racquet is a weapon. It feels solid, swings fast, and makes me feel like a much better player than I actually am. My backhand now has more bite than my neighbour’s chihuahua, and my drop shots are finally not just soft lobs with no purpose. My coach says I "need to focus on consistency," but I say: why be consistent when you can hit winners? Bonus: it looks so good, even when I double fault, at least I do it in style. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Just don’t tell my hitting partner—he’s still recovering emotionally from last weekend’s beating.
