Solid Performance, but Needs the Right Strings
By: Louiseon 5 March 2025Out of the box, this racquet is amazing—great power, good stability, and a very comfortable feel. However, I found it a bit launchy with the wrong string setup. Once I switched to a lower-powered poly, it became a beast. If you’re coming from a control racquet, you might need to adjust your string tension, but otherwise, it’s a fantastic frame.

More Power, Less Effort
By: Jeffeon 5 March 2025The 2025 EZONE 98 is slightly more powerful than the previous version, which I love. I don’t have to swing as hard to generate pace, and my serves have more pop. It also feels really stable on volleys, which was a nice surprise. If you like a modern, easy-to-use racquet that rewards full swings, this is a great choice.

Big Sweet Spot, Great for Aggressive Baseliners
By: Mitchon 5 March 2025I’ve been using the EZONE 98 for years, and this version feels like a true evolution. The sweet spot is generous, and it feels plush even on off-center hits. Depth comes easily, and I find it easier to redirect power from my opponent. I do wish it had a bit more feel on touch shots, but overall, it's a fantastic racquet for aggressive baseliners who want power without sacrificing control.

Powerful Yet Comfortable
By: Katyon 5 March 2025Yonex has done it again with the 2025 EZONE 98! The racquet feels more stable and solid compared to the 2022 version, especially on heavy shots. The slightly thicker beam gives extra power, but it still feels comfortable thanks to the updated layup. My serves are noticeably faster, and the Isometric head provides a forgiving sweet spot. It’s a great mix of power, control, and comfort—definitely my new go-to racquet!
