Alu Power has slightly more pop than other polyester strings, but this does not make the string uncontrollable. Whilst most poly options hover around the 6/10 range for power, this string produces just a touch more free power in comparison, whilst maintaining high levels of control for advanced players. 

Spin 8/10

Whilst Alu Power maintains a classical spherical shape unlike popular spin beasts with edged sides, the string still has fantastic spin potential. This makes Alu Power a string that can be effectively utilised by flat hitters, and heavy topspin players alike. 

Comfort 6.5/10

Alu Power is a firm string, alike most polyesters on the market today. The stiff nature of the string is beneficial for the creation of topspin, maximising control, but can be too stiff for beginner and intermediate level players. Not the least comfortable poly, and not the most comfortable either. 

Control 8/10

There are a few reasons why Alu Power is the most used polyester on tour, and control is a very important one. The string is useable, and reliable all over the court. With the abiility to control the game from the baseline with a range of different gamestyles, to dominating at net. 

Durability 7.5/10

Alu Power maintains a decent level of playability for a pretty standard period in comparison to most competitors. The string generally does not snap prematurely, and has decent tension maintenance. For more durability, we recommend a 130, or 135 guage.
